Spirituality Quest ( Zoom)

Spirituality Quest Feb 2023 ( Zoom)

The Day of Love? Today, people commonly associate Valentine’s Day with flowers, chocolates, and expressions of romantic love. However, the saint Valentine’s Day is named for was likely a far less frilly figure. According to various legends, Saint Valentine may have been a priest or bishop who was martyred for illegally conducting weddings and practicing his faith. A lack of historical records makes it impossible to verify who Saint Valentine really was, but celebrating his day can remind us that we all have saints or spiritual role models in our lives. Who are your spiritual role models? Who has inspired you to love, perhaps in a bold or unexpected way? Come and discuss with the group. “Love is the whole thing. We are only pieces.” --Rumi. Registration is required, please call 703-698-2526 to register. Zoom links are sent out closer to the day of group and not at the time of registration.
