Circuit training is an approach to exercise that includes a number of exercise stations that target strength building, flexibility and balance. This group is appropriate for those who have experienced the death of a loved one from cancer within the last 6 months to two years. Discussion topics include:Ÿ the process of grief; accepting and expressing one’s emotions; dealing with children, family and friends; role and life style changes; coping with special dates; Ÿcommunity resources; and more. Learning what to expect during and after your colorectal surgery can help reduce your anxiety and improve your recovery experience. An oncology nurse navigator will explain: What to expect throughout your hospital stay; requirements for going home; recovery process; tips for pain management; common concerns after surgery; and community resources.
