Living Well with Blood Cancer: Improving Brain Function & Managing Fear of Recurrence:
This program is designed to provide attendees with a greater understanding about living with, through, and beyond blood cancer. Blood cancer patients, caregivers, family and friends will gain a better understanding of strategies for managing ongoing cancer survivorship issues as well as available resources. Join LLS and Inova Life With Cancer to learn more about Coping with Cognitive and Emotional Challenges: Session 1: Cancer-Related Cognitive Impairment (CRCI).What is Brain Fog/Chemo Brain? Learn about interventions for improvement. Session 2: Coping with Uncertainty: Managing the Anxiety from Fear of Recurrence or Progression. If you are post treatment or in watch & wait, this session will provide tools to help manage the mental challenges of survivorship.
