Art Therapy for Long-Term Survivors-Sept. 2020:
Self-Care Box This is about taking care of your physical, emotional, spiritual, and social wellness. A self care box can incorporate positive affirmations and inspirations as well. It can be comforting to have something small, tangible and beautiful available in times of uncertainty and discomfort. The box can be used time and again for self-soothing and creating a sense of comfort and hope. Materials needed: cardboard box (shoebox), paints, markers, coloring pens / pencils, fabric scraps, items that are visually pleasing: photographs/magazine words or images/picture books, scissors and glue and sensory items - lotion, candle, gum stress balls, etc Registration for this group begins on the 1st of each month.
