Buff Bones:
Fun and functional, these workouts help build stronger bones as well as tone and fine-tune major muscle groups for strength and total-body conditioning. You’ll build strength by performing different types of movements using hand weights, bands, exercise balls, and body weight. If these props are not available you may substitute with water bottles, canned goods, bags of dried beans or rice. Registration and a signed Physical Activity Waiver are required for each previously unattended class. Participants who are more than 2 years out of completing active treatment (chemotherapy, radiation, surgery, targeted therapies, and immunotherapies) are encouraged to consider making a donation of $5 per class. If you cannot attend a class/group for which you are registered, CANCEL your registration as soon as possible by calling 703.698.2526; this will allow another person to attend.
